About Shane Sandlin

Shane Sandlin is the Vice President of Airplane Intel

Shane is a native of Marion county growing up in Williston, FL. He was surrounded by aviation throughout childhood thanks to his grandfather, a pilot, mechanic, and airplane owner. Shane started flying at a very young age and by 18 was a licensed pilot. Shane later earned advanced ratings including instrument, commercial, and multiengine. In 2017, Shane earned his A&P certificate and associates degree in Aviation Maintenance Management from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.

Shane honed his maintenance skills as a Cessna Citation technician for Textron Aviation’s service center in Orlando. Later, Shane enhanced his skills further as a technician for Corporate Air in Vero Beach, FL. In 2019, Shane flew for Flight Safety International as a Certificated Flight Instructor CFI. Shane is an AOPA and EAA member and is dedicated to serving the aviation community as a resident of Ocala.

Shane joined Airplane Intel in 2019 and serves as Vice President and Director of Customer Support. Today Shane plays a vital role in the growth and success of Airplane Intel in 2020 and beyond.
